Over the weekend, Slickwood had the pleasure of rocking the Midway main stage at the world famous Mecum auction where none other than Greg Douglass from the Steve Miller Band sat in for a tune!
Slickwood is a central Florida based jamgrass, folk / rock, roots music band comprised of true spirited, high energy songs and players. The vocal and instrumental abilities are influenced by a wide range of styles and genres melded together to create a truly unique sound. Slickwood has embarked upon a journey through music which has brought much growth and change along the way. Slickwood was founded in early 2012 by frontman Randy Ryals and has since transformed into a 6 piece dynamic group of talented musicians. Jamgrass Roots has become a popular phrase used by Slickwood fans to refer to the band's genre.
